He has published fiction, non-fiction, and poetry in the Radio Times, Litro, and Under the Radar, and was a virtual Writer in Residence with Melbourne UNESCO City of Literature in 2024.
He is the founder and editor-in-chief of the New Nottingham Journal, before which he was the literary editor at LeftLion. He writes copy and designs content for national organisations at Cartwright creative agency.
Andrew has won the University of Lille’s Indépendance Poetry Competition (2023) and the University of Nottingham’s Creative Writing Prize (2025).
He was a judge on the Dinesh Allirajah Prize for Short Fiction in 2026, and has run workshops on creative writing with groups across the world, including Kyiv’s Book Arsenal festival.
